"I equate LDR to an oil lamp. When the lamp initially has an abundant supply of oil, the fire burns intensely...but as time goes by...that supply of oil will gradually deplete and the fire starts to dim...until there comes the point of time when it totally flickers out.
If you're too dense to decipher my oil-lamp analogy, let me elucidate to you. When a couple first part, phone calls/sms/emails/MSN chats are constant as we always try to keep that passion aflame at par with being together in person. After a few months, that consistency begins to dwindle because both parties are starting to adjust to their life without each other and also making new acquaintances are contributors to that dwindling consistency. All that phone calls and etc. slowly becomes an obligatory occasional thing. Finally.......some totally just fall off from the face of earth and some just call it quits because they rather venture into greener pastures or simply it is too painful to sustain a LDR."

2. kimberley
3. jeanette

however, it did(does) not apply (fully) with
1. charmaine
2. venassa
3. luke
4. junwei
5. ivan
6. supun
