it's a public holiday today here in melbourne.

it's a day for people to dress up posh posh and go watch horses race.

melbourne cup day it's called.

a whole day devoted to watching horses race.
apparently it's the nation's past time.

i still can't get over it. a day for horses to race.

perhaps singapore should have a 4D day. or a toto day. or a kiasu day.

i however can't enjoy a horse race day. i must study. pfffffft.
