woooooot!!!
had an early christmas celebration last saturday.. exactly a month earlier..
and what's christmas without a christmas tree!!!
it's a very budget christmas.. gotta make do with what little you have when you have poor housemates..
a $12 tree, and another approximately $12 on ornaments.. not bad i don't think.. =)
and yes.. yours truly prepared christmas dinner. i have to thank mom for making me prepare dinner/meals all these years.. turns out, (as it always has been anyways), that i love spending time in the kitchen..
and not bad on my part either.. we had dinner at 8.30ish.. and i only started cooking at 6. not bad. a full meal in 2.5hours.
how people take an entire day to cook thanksgiving turkey is beyond me.. not to mention turkey is so darn dry.. bleeah.
menu as such:
1) chilled pureed tomato and mango soup
2) egg salad
3) latkes (potato cakes)
4) roast pork with apple sauce
5) roast chicken with sausage and mushroom stuffing
tadaaaah.. dinner is served.
these 2 peeps ROCK! absolutely love them..
bwahahahaaaaa!!!
supun had to take over the roast pork.. the skin turned out really crispy, but was too hard for me to cut.. good to have a man for these kinda things..

all my earnings go to rent and what little savings i have left for people whom i owe money to.. muahhahaaaa
i don't remember the last thing i bought for myself.. blaaaaah.
i need new shoes.. CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!
nimesha and supun exchanged gifts.. they got new clothes for each other..
i even got a present from them!!
what. i really did want a blender.. we don't have one at home..
heh heh. now i can blend whatever i want!!!
