okaaaaay.. as always... i tend to give you a mad read since i always post, then disappear indefinitely..
i reckon most of it yous who are reading already know.. or prolly even know more than what will be written.. so here goes..
am in the pit again for a musical - "The Outsiders" - on keyboards for this show.
it's the amateur theatre premiere of a 'written for high school' musical.
have already done 3 shows, just the day before, as well as a matinee and evening show yesterday. and another 3 to go come thursday..
don't quote me on this, a friend of a fellow pit member who's a drama teacher came to see the show last night, and apparently the musos are outshining the cast.
but that's just one person's review.
i personally havnt had the chance to watch the show.
sitting in the pit permits musos from understanding the story completely..
i love being in the pit.. love love love.
and looks like i may be getting yet another gig after this..
may be lucky enough to do Into the Woods with another company.. so we'll see how that goes.. =)
for all you know, getting musical gigs like these may be a source of extra income...
