it's been a CRAZY week.. esp the past 2 days.
a little recap of the past week, some of which were covered in the previous post to this..
10th (fri):
- sent luke off;
- supposed last at starbucks (which was not meant to be in the end)
edwin, angela, vignesh, shah, elaine
14th (tues):
- went to SP with mom in the morning to rush out marks cos she off to china later that same day
the last i will physically see her in 1.5years before i fly to melbourne..
on my way home, edwin (manager from SB) calls and asks if i can help cover a shift. i say yes.. (don't know why i do it..)
15th (wed):
- dinner with kim and junwei
16th (thurs):
- woke at 5.30am to go to SBML to get ready for catering for alteon..
- catering ended, raga came with me to make new glasses
- dinner with ah ma
- back to suntec to collect new glasses
17th (fri):
- dinner/movie with venassa
we watched casanova. GOOD movie. go watch..
18th (sat):
- cleaned house for the last time
- dimsum lunch with maine, guofeng and tracy. ryan tagged along
- dinner with my relatives
that was the madness of the whole of last week
right now, im in melbourne.. i still can't quite believe that it's happening.. i don't it's quite sunk in yet..
iv been just so busy settling in - finding my way around, public transport, telephone.. everything..
thank goodness charmaine was around on sunday to help me pack. go to her blog.. everything that happened on the 19th (before going to the airport) is there..

it was hard to leave..
i cried much outside, after going in, i called my mom, and cried a 2nd round..

took the same flight as vasanth (qf 388).
turned out to be a combined BA flight.. so we actually flew on british airways..
it wasn't that great a flight though..
where we were seated, there were 3 babies/toddlers.. the one diagonally on my right was the worst. and the father did nothing to pacify him.. omg. i wanted to die.
everytime i fell asleep, one of the babies would scream.
on top of that, the stoopid lady behind me kept kicking my chair.
as if the already crammed plane seats weren't enough..
it's 2days later and im still reeling from the lack of sleep..
we arrived on monday, 21st feb 2006, 0554hrs..

this is monday, 0700ish, and there were people in hot air balloons..

i was dropped to my doorstep of 11 Normanton Place, Berwick.
slept for about 2hours, then headed to Berwick Campus to enrol my units..
i ended up having to only enrol today, so i left and went to Melbourne Central to meet luke and elise for dinner.
i was damn tickled by the names of these shops.. memories of home..
then there was this guy busking.. he rocks.. i gave him 70cents..
drinks at this bar at melbourne central.. i drank ice water and ate chips..
vasanth had to go back, as did i..
did a bit of grocery shopping.. luke followed..
he slept over cos he kindly offered to follow me to enrolment today..
today's (21st feb tuesday) agenda was to go to berwick campus to enrol my units; head to clayton campus to recki that other campus where i'll also be attending classes; start a bank account; get international calling cards; get australia line..

it's been a blast.. and i'm damn bloody tired..
tmr im going to clayton campus again, then recki my town area..
maybe i'll buy a bike to ride round..
