havnt seen ahyee in like hmmmm. a gajillion years.. nice ta have them both @ our place for only 5days..
had i not have exams, i'd have spent more time, and had more pics taken.. AND be more welcoming.. felt a tad distant the time they were here.. unfamiliarity perhaps.. *shrugs*
anyways.. here are pics.. self explanatory..

night 1 - dinner
grandpa + ahyee arrived via bus @ approx 6ish.. headed to dinner thereafter..
day/night 2 - they went to botanical gardens.. i was a non-participant..
night 3 - little india
exciting evening this one was..
had a ton of naans for dinner too..
YUM.
night 4 - cantonese dinner + esplanade + planned drinks with ahku which didn't take place cos he couldn't make it and had prior plans with his friends..
there was this little push-cart thing @ esplanade..
you can't quite see the vendor, but it's a young guy.
then, look at the name of the stall..
should be an ahpek selling if you ask me..
last day - ahyee went to church, mom bought her a WHOLE lot of traditional bowls and water bottles and blahs to bring back to LA..
VERY heavy tradional breakfast @ 9ish am..
visited grandma..
and then LUNCH @ 12 @ crystal jade holland v..
and then it was time to go..
tears and such.
mine came after this whole drama when no one was around.
im guessing it'll be yet another million years till we see them again..
hohum..
had a great weekend eating though.. haha
and of course, the much missed company of grandpa and ahyee..
