ya know the phrase.. 'almost died of embarrasment'?
had that experience this evening.
my father killed me. he killed my sister, my mother, and i. ryan survived for some strange reason.
omfg.
we wanted to go to sembawang for dinner.
the whole car ride, he kept complaining that it was far.
so we got pissed off and told him to turn left @ this YCK zicha place, which we frequent.
food ordered, and he kept complaining again about having no money and being 'flexible'. and that if we ate @ foodcourt, he'd only have to spen $3.50/head.
THIS IS SINGAPORE. NOT FUCKING CHINA.
then, the food took rather long to come.. today was a bad day for the cook.. many customers, too few cooks..
so my pain in the ass father went up to the aunty and complained.
she said food would be here soon.
20min later, still no food. so my father said, 'lets go somewhere else...'
becky and i were like... O_O"
father left the table, ryan left the table, mom left the table (the latter 2 left cos my father was being such a pain)
becky and i remained at the table.. mom from a distance shouting for the 2 of us to follow suit.
2 of us were like...... OMFG.
we were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO embarrased.
k. never mind. ran into the car. father started the engine.
mother demanded that he drive off.
my father suddenly saw that the food got served.
mother insisted that he drive off.
but nooooo... he turned off the engine, and went back to the table....
becky and i were like.... !!!!!!!! WTBF!!!!!
MOMMY... CAN WE PLEASE DRIVE OFFF!!!!!
he went back to the table. created a scene. the WHOLE eatery were staring.
we knew not what to do.
mom insisted that we returned to the table and ate.
becky and i were laughing and shaking so hard.
i don't think i ever lifted my head the whole time i was eating.
i wanted to leave so bad.
my stupendously stupid father even said summin like if
'if something like this ever happens, we have to be united.'
like wtf. nothing like this ever happens when YOU are around...
omg.
i NEVER want to have dinner with him EVER.
i don't even want another meal with him.
im so glad he's leaving for bangkok tml pm...
don't have to see him for the next week.
!! and no lunch with him next sunday either!!!
i'll be out with junwei and kim....
